The Integrated HRP/RCMP Major Crime Unit is seeking the public's assistance in locating a missing Halifax man.
On July 17, 2002, police received a report from Paula Forbes that her husband, Bruce Forbes, had not been seen since July 16, 2002. Mr. Forbes was residing at 35 Lansdowne Drive, Halifax, at the time of his disappearance. The police investigation revealed that Mr. Forbes was last seen at a Regent Road residence in Halifax on July 16. It is believed that the he had a large sum of money in his possession at the time of his disappearance. Mr. Forbes suffered from a serious health condition and required medication on a daily basis. It is believed that Mr. Forbes was not in possession of this medication at the time of his disappearance. The circumstances of Mr. Forbes' disappearance are suspicious and foul play is suspected.
Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Mr. Forbes, or anyone who may have seen him is asked to call Police at 490-5016.
This case is part of the Nova Scotia Department of Justice Rewards for Major Unsolved Crimes Program.
