Western Region Community Council on 2nd November, 2004 was included in District 22 - Timberlea - Prospect, District 23 - Hammonds Plains - St. Margarets and that part of District 18 - Spryfield - Herring Cove which was situated within the boundaries of the former Halifax County Municipality prior to April 1, 1996 WITH THE EXCEPTION OF that portion of polling district 23 that falls within the Beaver Bank, Hammonds Plains, Upper Sackvile Municipal Planning Strategy, as shown on Map 1 attached. (Administrative Order Twenty-Six)
Western Region Community Council usually meets on the fourth Monday of the month at 7:00 pm.
