STATEMENT OF CAMPAIGN CONTRIBUTIONS FOR MUNICIPAL AND SCHOOL BOARD ELECTIONS
These reports are made available pursuant to the Municipal Elections Act,
Chapter 300 of the Revised Statues of Nova Scotia, 1989 with Amendments to July 2008.
Contributions to Candidates or Associations Section 49 (8) states:
Within sixty days after regular polling day in an election, every candidate and agent of an association shall file with the Clerk of a municipality or the secretary of a school board a disclosure statement showing the full name and residential or business address, other than a post office box unless that is the only address available, of each contributor whose contributions received during the period since the previous election exceed fifty dollars in total and the amount of the total contribution by the contributor.
Under the Right to Examine Statements section 49B (1) Any person may examine a disclosure statement respecting contributions to a candidate.
