Lockview-MacPherson WPCP (Fall River) was designed by U.M.A. Engineering and commissioned in 1994. This is a 100,000 gal/day extended aeration treatment process with tertiary filtration, nutrient (phosphorus) removal, nitrification and ultra violet disinfection. Due to the environmental sensitivity of the Fletcher Lake receiving water, the highest quality tertiary effluent was required. Nova Scotia Department of Environment and Labour discharge parameters are: 10 ppm BOD 5, 10 ppm suspended solids, and 1.5 ppm phosphorus.

The Middle Musquodoboit WPCP was designed by Alderney Consultants and commissioned in 1986. This 30,000 gpd secondary process consists of flow equalization, primary clarification, rotating biological contactors, secondary settling, a polishing lagoon, and ultra violet disinfection. Effluent is discharged to the Musquodoboit River which is well known as a major habitat for Atlantic Salmon.

North Preston WPCP is a 70,000 gpd rotating biological contactor secondary treatment plant which discharges to Wynder Lake.

Uplands Park WPCP serves the village of Uplands Park and has a treatment capacity of 20,000 gallons/day. This facility utilizes fixed film trickling filter technology as the secondary treatment stage. Other features include primary/secondary clarifiers and post chlorination. Discharge is to a natural marsh area which drains to Sandy Lake.

Steeves Sub Division STP (Wellington) is a 10,000 gpd secondary treatment extended aeration process.

Frame Sub Division STP (Waverley): 10,000 gpd secondary treatment extended aeration process.

Lively Sub Division STP (Upper Sackville): 10,000 gpd extended aeration with tertiary filtration.
