Request
Application by Fathom Studio, on behalf of Screen Nova Scotia, to rezone PID 40600736 to C-2 and enter into a development agreement to construct a film production facility (Sound Studio), off Prospect Road, Goodwood.
Proposal
The applicant wishes to construct a film production facility (Sound Studio) on a parcel adjacent to the existing Halifax Exhibition Centre at 200 Prospect Road. The building would consist of offices, production areas, and two indoor sound stages. The major aspects of the proposal are as follows:
• A 5850 square metre building footprint, with room for future expansion
• 238 parking spaces
The Development Plans (provided below) outline the development proposal in detail, and include information related to the proposed building, traffic assessment, wetland assessment, stormwater management, and servicing information.

The application will be considered under the Development Agreement Process.
