Application by Westwood Construction Ltd. to discharge the development agreement off 2717 & 2719 Gladstone St. (PID 41215385) and a non-substantive amendment and partial discharge of the development agreement at 6100 Almon St. (PID 41503343).
Proposal
The applicant wishes to discharge the development agreement on the Gladstone Ridge lands (2717 & 2719 Gladstone St.) and amend the development agreement on the Richmond Yards lands (PID 41503343) in order to alter the property boundary between the two properties to enable the construction of a new townhouse building on the Gladstone Ridge Lands in the future. The major aspects of the proposal are as follows:
• Discharge of development agreement on Gladstone Ridge Lands (PID 41215385). The lot will revert to the underlying zoning (HR-2 under the Halifax Regional Centre Land Use By-law).
• Non-substantive amendment to the Richmond Yards development agreement on PID 41503343 in order to make changes to the landscaping plan.
• Subdivision/ boundary alteration to property lines between PID 41503343 and 41215385.
• Discharge of Richmond Yards development agreement from parcel of land included within the boundaries of PID 41215385.

The application will be considered under the Development Agreement Amendment Process
Status
The proposal is currently being reviewed in detail by staff and other agencies. Next steps will include working with the applicant to incorporate feedback received from the review and drafting the documents and reports for the amending and discharging of development agreements.
