Request
Application by Lookout Investments requesting a non-substantive amendment to the existing Development Agreement at 1484 Main Road (case 22847) to allow additional time to begin the development by extending the construction commencement date by 3 years.
Proposal
The registered development agreement (Case 22847) was approved in 2021 and permits two multiple unit dwellings, each containing a maximum of 60 dwelling units. The approved development agreement requires that at least 32 dwelling units in each building be two (2) bedroom units and states that an extension request to the date of commencement of construction shall be deemed non-substantive as per subsection 6.1.1(a).
The rationale (provided below) outlines the reason for this time extension request to the existing Development Agreement.

The application will be considered under the Non-substantive Development Agreement Amendment process.
Status
The applicant is currently being reviewed before sending a recommendation report to the Development Officer.
