TAKE NOTICE THAT a Development Officer of Halifax Regional Municipality did, on August 29, 2024 approve the Amending Development Agreement to allow for changes in the Phasing Plan. Read the report.
There is no ability to appeal the decision of the Development Officer to the Nova Scotia Utility and Review Board in accordance with the provisions of the Halifax Regional Municipality Charter.
Request
Application by Southwest Construction Management requesting a non substantive amendment to extend the construction and commencement dates for Block 8E and 8F of an existing Development Agreement at Bedford Highway & Seton Road, Halifax.
Proposal
The applicant is seeking an amendment in order to extend the time period for commencement by seven years (new date of November 2032) and completion by ten years (new date of November 2038).
Process
The application will be considered under the Non-Substantive Amendment to Development Agreement process.
