Motion: 
That the Transportation Standing Committee receive the staff report dated January 23, 2025 for information and receive a presentation.

13.2 ACTIVE TRANSPORTATION ADVISORY COMMITTEE
13.2.1 Prioritization of Sidewalks and Multi-use Pathways in Cherry Brook [PDF]
Motion: 
That the Transportation Standing Committee direct the Chief Administrative Officer to request a staff report on prioritizing construction of sidewalks or multi-use pathways within the Cherry Brook community.

14. MOTIONS 
14.1 Councillor Cleary
Motion: 
That the Transportation Standing Committee direct the Chief Administrative Officer to prepare a report investigating a policy allowing Councillors to use district capital funds to purchase a limited number of mobile speed display signs (SDS) for use within their districts as traffic feedback, monitoring, and reporting devices, over and above the current SDS that are now in use within Traffic Management.

Motion: 
That the Transportation Standing Committee recommend that Halifax Regional Council amend Administrative Order 2021-005-OP, the Traffic Calming Administrative Order, incorporating amendments identified in the November 25, 2024 information report submitted to the Transportation Standing Committee on January 23, 2025.
