On March 3 at 7:30 p.m. officers responded to the intersection of Lacewood Drive and Willett Street to a report of a female pushing a stroller who was struck by a vehicle. A 17-year-old female youth was pushing a stroller containing a 7 month old baby and was attempting to cross Lacewood Drive from the Sobeys property. She was in a marked crosswalk but proceeding to cross against the walk lights. She and the baby were struck by an eastbound vehicle driven by an 18-year-old woman travelling down Lacewood Drive. The investigation has determined that the driver had the right of way and a green light.
