Halifax Regional Police is investigating a vehicle / cyclist collision that occurred in Dartmouth.
On June 16, at 7:30 p.m., officers responded to a collision at the intersection of Prince Arthur Avenue and Portland Street in Dartmouth. An SUV, driven by a 59-year-old woman was turning right from Prince Arthur Avenue onto Portland Street. The vehicle struck a cyclist who was driving his bike on the sidewalk and came through the crosswalk. The 16-year-old male cyclist was not injured. He was issued a Summary Offence ticket for riding a bicycle on the sidewalk.
