Police are still at the scene of a suspicious death in Dartmouth.
At approximately 10:00 p.m. on June 6, 2017, Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a female in medical distress in the 0-100 block of Albro Lake Road. Officers located a 18-year-old female who required immediate medical assistance. EHS transported the female to hospital where she later passed away. The name of the victim is being withheld pending next of kin notification.
Investigators in the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are in the preliminary stages of the investigation, and Forensic Identification officers are continuing to process the scene.
