The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising motorists and residents paving will take place Sunday night on Almon Street between Gottingen and Oxford streets.
Crews will be on site from 6 p.m. until 6 a.m. There will be stop-and-go traffic while work is underway. Traffic signals will be shut off at the Agricola/Almon intersection and the Robie/Almon intersection. Traffic control personnel will be on site to direct motorists, cyclists, and pedestrians through the work site. Motorists should expect delays in the area and are asked to use an alternative route whenever possible.
Please note: Parking will be prohibited on both sides of Almon Street between Gottingen and Oxford streets. Vehicles parked in No Parking zones will be towed in order to allow this work to be completed.
