Dartmouth – Traffic Signal Work

The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising motorists and pedestrians there will be intermittent traffic signal disruptions beginning tomorrow in various intersections across Dartmouth.

Crews will be installing LED lamps in the traffic signals at the following intersections from Tuesday, May 29 to Monday, June 4, between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. each day.

Drivers should be aware there will be some lane drops and interruptions to traffic flow as this work is completed. There will be at least one working traffic light in each direction at every intersection while these installations are underway.

Work will take place at the following intersections at various times throughout the week:

  • Pleasant & Acadia streets
  • Pleasant & Atlantic streets
  • Pleasant Street & Highway 111
  • Portland Street & Gaston Road
  • Portland Street & Highway 111
  • Portland Street & Penhorn Plaza entrance
  • Portland & Pleasant streets
  • Portland Street & Prince Arthur Avenue
  • Portland Street & Regal Road
  • Portland Street & Green Village Lane
