Death Ruled a Homicide, Victim Identified
The suspicious death that occurred on March 4, 2022 at a residence on Elmwood Avenue in Dartmouth has been ruled a homicide.
The Nova Scotia Medical Examiner Service conducted an autopsy and has ruled the manner of death to be a homicide. The victim has been identified as 32-year-old Ryan Charles Patrick Lindsay from Dartmouth. Our thoughts are with the victim’s family and loved ones during this difficult time.
Police currently have a suspect in custody and do not believe this was a random incident.
The investigation into the homicide is being led by homicide investigators from the Special Investigations Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division. The investigation is in its preliminary stages and police remain on the scene of a Elmwood Avenue residence.
