At approximately 5:10 p.m. on February 11, Halifax Regional Police responded to a physical disturbance at an apartment located in the 0-100 block of Kennedy Drive in Dartmouth. A 40-year-old woman reported being assaulted by a 37-year-old man who was known to her. After the assault, the man caused significant property damage to the apartment and its contents. The man was arrested without incident and will be making a court appearance this morning to face numerous criminal charges stemming from the occurrence.
