At approximately 8:03 p.m. on May 3, officers assigned to the HRP/RCMP Integrated Drug Unit, the Central Quick Response Unit and Patrol executed a search warrant in the 2300 block of Breen Avenue. A woman was arrested at that location and a man was arrested in the area of Maitland Street and Divas Lane. The search resulted in a quantity of crack cocaine, marihuana, cash and drug paraphernalia being seized. A 37-year-old Halifax man will appear in Halifax Provincial Court this morning to face charges of drug trafficking, drug possession and breach of probation. A 28-year-old Halifax woman will appear in court at a later date to face charges of drug trafficking and drug possession.
