On May 3 at approximately 9:07 p.m., officers assigned to the HRP/RCMP Integrated Drug Unit conducted a traffic stop in the 200 block of Waverley Road in Dartmouth. A man and woman were arrested and subsequent to the arrests, the officers, assisted by members from the East Quick Response Unit, executed a search warrant on a residence in that same block. The search resulted in a quantity of crack cocaine, marihuana, pills, cash and drug paraphernalia being seized. A 26-year-old man and a 20-year-old Dartmouth woman will appear in Halifax Provincial Court this morning to face charges of drug trafficking. The man faces three additional charges of breaching his recognizance.
