The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents that registration for the 18th annual Volunteer Conference is now open, with special early bird rates available until Friday, Oct. 26.
The conference, which offers a wide selection of interactive and informative workshops, provides residents with an opportunity to participate in training, networking and learning opportunities – all designed to help people become more effective in their work and strengthen the volunteer capacity of the municipality.
The keynote speaker at this year’s conference is the Honourable Joanne Bernard, ECNS, President and CEO of Easter Seals Nova Scotia.
When: Friday, Nov. 16 and Saturday, Nov. 17, 2018

Inscription hâtive à la conférence des bénévoles de 2018
La Municipalité régionale d’Halifax informe les résidents que les inscriptions à la 18e conférence annuelle des bénévoles sont maintenant ouvertes. Le tarif spécial pour les inscriptions hâtives sera offert jusqu’au vendredi 26 octobre.
La conférence, qui offre une large sélection d’ateliers interactifs et instructifs, donne aux résidents l’occasion de participer à des possibilités de formation, de réseautage et d’apprentissage – toutes conçues pour aider les gens à devenir plus efficaces au travail et à renforcer la capacité bénévole de la municipalité.
Cette année, la conférencière principale de la conférence est l’honorable Joanne Bernard, C.E.N.E., présidente et chef de la direction d’Easter Seals Nova Scotia.
