GO #17-144271: Weapons call

Halifax Regional Police is currently investigating a weapons complaint that was reported early this morning in Halifax.

At 12:06 a.m., officers attended the 5000 block of Duffus Street in Halifax for a weapons call. Police immediately responded to an injured woman inside a residence who had sustained a gun shot wound. EHS attended and the woman was taken to the hospital. 

This matter is in the early stages of the investigation. Members of the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are asking anyone with information about this incident to contact police at 902-490-5016.
