Shortly before 10 p.m. on October 2, police responded to an address on Gaston Road in Dartmouth where a 59-year-old male resident was found with significant injuries. Evidence at the scene indicated that the male was a victim of an assault at that location. EHS attended and the male was transported to the QEII for treatment. Detectives with the Halifax Regional Police Forensic Identification Section and the Integrated General Investigation Section also attended the scene and the investigation is on going.
