At approximately 10:58 p.m. on October 23, police responded to the report of an altercation between two individuals at an address on Bright Street in Halifax. A 41-year-old man was arrested at the scene, treated for minor injuries by EHS and is being held for a morning court appearance to face a charge of assault with a weapon. The two involved male parties were known to each other. The other involved party was not injured.
