Voters in Lower Sackville (District 15) will choose from 10 candidates when they go to the polls in the coming weeks.
Wednesday, Sept. 11 was the final day for registered candidates to withdraw from the race. Now that the deadline has passed, all 10 candidates will be on the ballot.
To promote engagement and communication, the candidates provided the municipality with their contact information and social media channels:

Le mercredi 11 septembre était la dernière journée où les candidats inscrits pouvaient se retirer de la course. La date limite étant révolue, les 10 candidats verront tous leur nom apparaître sur les bulletins de vote.

A special election in Lower Sackville (District 15) is required because of the recent resignation of former Coun. Steve Craig, who successfully won a seat in the provincial legislature.
The election to replace Craig will be held on Saturday, Oct. 5, with advance in-person polling dates on Saturday, Sept. 28 and Tuesday, Oct. 1.
This is the first municipal election that will be held entirely through e-voting. The above dates offer constituents an opportunity to physically go to polling stations to vote online and by phone.
Eligible voters will be able to begin casting ballots by phone or online at any time, beginning on Saturday, Sept. 28 at noon.

Des élections spéciales sont requises à Lower Sackville (district 15) en raison de la démission récente de l’ancien conseiller Steve Craig, qui a remporté un siège à l’assemblée législative provinciale.
Les élections visant à remplacer M. Craig auront lieu le samedi 5 octobre. Les dates de vote par anticipation en personne sont le samedi 28 septembre et le mardi 1er octobre.
Il s’agit des premières élections municipales qui auront lieu entièrement par vote électronique. Les dates ci‑dessus offrent aux électeurs une occasion de se rendre physiquement aux bureaux de vote afin de voter en ligne et par téléphone.
Les électeurs admissibles pourront commencer à voter par téléphone ou en ligne à tout instant à compter du samedi 28 septembre à midi.
