Investigators assigned to the HRP/RCMP Integrated General Investigation Section charged a man in connection with a stabbing that occurred on November 24 in Dartmouth.
At 10:43 p.m., police responded to 269 Wyse Road for a report of a stabbing. An 18-year-old man was stabbed numerous times in the torso during a confrontation with two other men. He was transported by EHS to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries. He has since been released from hospital.
Yesterday at 4:23 p.m., a man turned himself in at police headquarters in relation to this file and was arrested and interviewed. As a result, 19-year-old Brandon Harvey Hannan of Dartmouth was charged with aggravated assault. He will appear in Dartmouth Provincial Court later today.
Investigators with the HRP/RCMP Integrated General Investigation Section are still looking for a second man in relation to this incident.
