On May 26, at 4:40 p.m., Halifax Regional Police were stopped at a red light on Chain Lake Drive at Washmill Lake Drive, Halifax. Police witnessed a vehicle accelerate quickly from the light and followed the vehicle for a short distance. The vehicle was observed driving 120 Km/h in a 50 Km/h zone on Chain Lake Drive. A 20-year-old man was charged with stunting under section 163(1) of Motor Vehicle Act and his vehicle was seized.
