The Halifax Regional Municipality is advising residents and motorists there will be asphalt patching today on Montague Road between Montague Mines and Burnhope roads.
Crews are on site from 7 a.m. to 6 p.m., and there will be stop-and-go traffic while work is underway. A ‘Follow Me’ truck will be in service to lead vehicles in and out of the construction zone. Residents exiting driveways need to be aware of the direction of the ‘Follow Me’ truck and traffic before entering Montague Road.
Motorists are asked to use an alternative route whenever possible.
