Musquodoboit Harbour Recreation Centre and Library to host grand re-opening

The Halifax Regional Municipality and Halifax Public Libraries are inviting residents to the grand-re-opening of the Musquodoboit Harbour Recreation Centre and Library on Saturday, Jan. 27.

Renovation work on the library, recreation centre, and fitness centre began in June. The refurbished space is designed to create a more vibrant, modern, energy efficient, and accessible space for residents.

Upgrades include:

  • new heating, electrical, and lighting systems
  • accessible washrooms
  • gathering areas
  • new programming spaces

Grand Re-Opening Event

When: 10 a.m., Saturday, Jan 27

Where: Musquodoboit Harbour Recreation Centre, 7900 Highway 7, Musquodoboit Harbour

Planned activities include local entertainment, light refreshments, and face painting for the kids.
