On December 21 at approximately 9 p.m., police responded to the Mumford Road bus terminal for a report of a pedestrian hit by a bus. A 73-year-old woman was crossing the roadway in a marked crosswalk and was hit by a Halifax Transit bus exiting the bus terminal. The woman was transported to hospital by EHS for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries. The collision remains under investigation and no charges have been laid at this time.
