Halifax Regional Police is advising citizens of a number of residential break and enters in Halifax.
Over the last few weeks, nine residential break and enters have occurred in North End Halifax on the following streets: Maynard, Creighton, Agricola, Davison, Willow, Bloomfield, Black and Fuller Terrace.
The majority of these incidents occurred during the day, with the suspect(s) gaining entry through an open window or unlocked door. Investigators assigned to the HRP/RCMP Integrated General Investigation Section (GIS) are exploring the possibility that these incidents may be connected and are asking for the public’s help to determine who is responsible.
Halifax Regional Police reminds citizens to ensure your doors and windows are secure and that you activate your alarm when you go out, as well as when you are home. Residents are also encouraged to call police if they observe suspicious activity.
