Investigators in the integrated Criminal Investigation Division are asking for the public’s assistance in relation to an investigation into an assault that occurred last month.
On November 10 at approximately 11:40 p.m., officers responded to an assault in progress near the 50 block of Walter Havill Drive in Halifax. Officers located two 15-year-old youths who had been assaulted. Both youths were taken to the hospital for what were believed to be non-life-threatening injuries.
One suspect was described as a Black man, between 30 to 40-years-old, approximately 6’ tall, slim build, with a tattoo on his right forearm. At the time of the incident, the suspect had a bald/shaved head. A second suspect was described as a white man, stocky build, between 30 to 40-years-old with tattoos. The suspects fled the area in a black or dark coloured SUV.
