Members of the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division have charged a man in relation to an incident that occurred yesterday in Halifax.
At approximately 2:40 p.m., police responded to a disturbance in the 2100 block of Barrington Street involving a group of people known to one another. Upon arrival, officers determined that a 23-year-old man had assaulted a 31-year-old-man and stabbed a 36-year-old woman. The suspect fled the scene but was located a short distance away. The woman was transported to hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Duwan Glasgow, 23, of Halifax, is scheduled to appear in court today to face charges of attempted murder, assault with a weapon, weapons possession and two counts of breach of conditions.
