Police have charged a man in relation to 10 break and enters that occurred in Halifax over the last three weeks.
At approximately 12:20 a.m. on February 10 police responded to the 1300 block of Birmingham Street in Halifax for a report of a man breaking into a business. Officers arrested the man after a brief foot pursuit. The items stolen from the business were recovered by officers at the scene.
Everette Allan Branscombe, 45, is scheduled to appear in Halifax Provincial Court today to face charges of break and enter, possession of property obtained by crime under $5,000 and trespassing at night.
Branscombe is also facing nine counts of break and enter and one count of property damage in relation to nine other break and enters that occurred in Halifax between January 20 and February 6.
