Police have charged a man for a robbery that occurred in Halifax yesterday.
At approximately 11:50 a.m. police responded to a robbery in progress at the Petro-Canada gas station at 7015 Bayers Road. A man came into the store, threatened staff and assaulted them. He then stole merchandise and fled on foot.
Officers arrested the suspect in the area without further incident.
Logan Vassos, 19, is scheduled to appear in Halifax provincial court today to face charges of:
- Robbery
- Assault (x4)
- Mischief (x2)
- Threats
