Police continue to investigate robbery

Police are continuing to investigate a robbery that occurred in Dartmouth in August and are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying the suspect.

On August 15 at approximately 9 p.m. police responded to a robbery in-progress at the No Frills located at 118 Wyse Road in Dartmouth. A man entered the store, concealed a number of items and brandished a knife when confronted by staff members. The man fled the store on foot with the items. No one was physically injured during the incident.  

The suspect is described as a Black man in his mid-30s with a medium build and a groomed beard. He had red glasses and was wearing a black hoodie with a white design, dark blue pants and carrying a red and blue re-usable shopping bag.

Police are releasing photos of the suspect and are asking anyone with information about the incident or the identity of the suspect or video from the area to call 902-490-5020.
