Halifax Regional Police and Halifax Search and Rescue are continuing to conduct a search in Halifax for a missing man.
Officers, along with Halifax Search and Rescue crews, are looking for a missing person in the area of Point Pleasant Park in Halifax. Steve Corkum, 48, was reported missing from a Halifax hospital yesterday. Steve is described as a white man, approximately 5'9" tall, 190lbs. with thinning dark hair and dark brown eyes. He was last seen wearing black stretchy pajama pants, a dark grey pullover with hood and dark grey golf shirt.
Police and Halifax Search and Rescue personnel will be in the area on foot, bicycles and vehicles and will be using aerial drones to search the area. Police are asking the public to remain away from the area to allow for the search to be conducted.
Police request that anyone with information on Steve Corkum's whereabouts or video from the area to call police at 902-490-5020.
