Police Investigate Attempted Robbery - Dartmouth

At 9:45 p.m., 23 September, Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of an attempted robbery that occurred in the 0-100 block of Kennedy Drive Dartmouth.  The victim met a buyer for his vehicle.  However, while inspecting the vehicle the buyer produced a knife and attempted to take the vehicle.  The victim was able to lock himself in his vehicle and the suspect fled on foot.  The victim sustained minor injures and did not seek medical treatment.  The suspect fled on foot in an unknown direction.  Officers searched the area and could not locate the suspect.

The suspect is described as a white males, 30-40 years old, 6’ tall, average build and bald, wearing a grey hooded shirt and jeans.
