Police investigate bank robbery GO#20-131199

On November 6 just after 3 p.m., a man entered the TD Bank located at 5495 Spring Garden Road, Halifax. The man stated he had a weapon and demanded cash. There was no weapon observed. The man attempted to flee the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash when an enclosed dye pack discharged causing him to drop the money before fleeing. 

He was last seen traveling on Spring Garden Road. The matter is still in the early stages of investigation.

The suspect is described to police as a 6’’ tall man with a “tanned complexion” and wearing a black toque.
