Police investigate break & enter with weapon GO#20-31772

On March 7 at 11:30 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a break & enter in progress, in the 200 block of Windmill Road, Dartmouth. Two masked suspects armed with bear spray forced their way into an apartment and assaulted a resident. The suspects fled on foot in an unknown direction. The victim, a 50-year-old man, was transported to the hospital for non-life-threatening injuries. Multiple officers responded and searched the area but did not locate the suspects. Currently, there is no suspect information.

Investigators with the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are conducting the investigation which is in the early stages.
