On July 15 at approximately 2:45 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a driver operating a motor vehicle while impaired in the area of Sambro and West Pennant, Halifax.
Police located the vehicle in the area and attempted to conduct a traffic stop, however, the driver failed to stop for the officers and fled at a high rate of speed. Officers attended the driver’s residence on Kelly Drive, Halifax and were able to get him to surrender without incident.
The driver was placed under arrest for Impaired Driving and Flee from Police.
