Police investigate robbery

On August 9 at 11:21 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a robbery that had just occurred at Jenny’s Place, 6211 Lady Hammond Road, Halifax. Staff reported two men wearing masks entered the business demanding money. One suspect threated he had a weapon. The suspects left on foot with an undisclosed amount of money, in an unknown direction of travel. There were no injuries reported as a result of the incident and no weapons were observed. 

Patrol officers, a Police Service Dog and General Investigation Section members responded and are actively searching for the suspects.

The first suspect is described to police as being a man between the ages of 30-40-years-old with a medium build who was wearing a black mask, black hooded shirt with a dark jacket and blue jeans. The second suspect is described to police as being a man between the ages of 30-40-years-old with a thin build who was wearing a red mask and black hooded shirt.
