Police investigate robbery

Police are investigating a robbery that occurred in Halifax on August 21, 2023.

At approximately 9:45 p.m., officers responded to a report of a robbery that had just occurred at the Circle K Convenience Store/Irving Gas Station located at 5450 Inglis Street in Halifax. Two men entered the store, forcing their way behind the cash area, where they stole cigarettes and food items. Staff of the store were not injured in the incident. No weapons were seen. Both suspects fled on foot, in an unknown direction of travel.

The first suspect is described as a man with a brown goatee who was wearing a grey hoodie with the number 22 on it and a brown jacket. The second suspect is described as a man with a thin build and a neck tattoo, who was wearing a black collared shirt and a black bucket-style hat with a dinosaur pattern. Both men are described as being in the range of 20 to 29 years old.
