Police investigate robbery GO# 20-16189

On February 3 at 7:13 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a robbery that had just occurred at the Needs, 5881 Duffus Street, Halifax. Staff reported two men wearing masks, one armed with a firearm, entered the store demanding cigarettes and money. The suspects left in a vehicle with cigarettes and money, in an unknown direction of travel. No one was injured. 

The first suspect is described to police as being tall with a medium build, wearing a black mask, light hooded shirt with a dark colour jacket and blue jeans. The second suspect is described to police as being shorter with a thin build, wearing a black mask, a dark hoodie and black pants.

Patrol officers and General Investigation Section members responded and are actively searching for the suspects.
