Police investigate robbery GO#20-109283

On September 16 at 10:18 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a robbery at the Petro Canada station at 7015 Bayers Road, Halifax. A man entered the store and approached the clerk demanding cash. The suspect stole a quantity of cigarettes and fled the store on foot. The clerk was not injured, and no weapons were observed.

The suspect is described to police as a man in his 30's, he is approximately 5'7’’ tall and has a stocky build. He was wearing a blue medical mask, gloves, a gray hooded sweatshirt, gray jogging pants and brown shoes with white soles. He was carrying a green re-useable shopping bag.

The investigation is in its early stages and Investigators with the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are conducting the investigation.
