Police investigate robbery GO#20-84324

On July 23 at 10:15 p.m., Halifax Regional Police were dispatched for a robbery in progress at the Shell Gas Station/Needs Convenience Store located at 2616 Robie Street, Halifax. A man used a firearm in the commission of the offence and took cash from the till. He was last seen leaving the area on foot, heading towards Clifton Street.

Multiple police units, including the K-9 Unit was dispatched and assisted with scene containment and search of suspect. At this time, the suspect has not been located. There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.

The suspect is described to police as a white man, believed to be in his 20’s, approximately 6 feet tall, with a slim build, wearing a grey hoodie, black face mask and black pants.
