Police investigate robbery GO#20-87539

On July 30 at 10:49 p.m., Halifax Regional Police were dispatched for a robbery in progress at the Irving Gas Station located at 5450 Inglis Street, Halifax. A man indicated he had a firearm in the commission of the offence and took cash from the till. He was last seen leaving on foot. It is unknown if he continued on foot or left the area in a vehicle.

Multiple police units, including the K-9 Unit were dispatched and assisted with scene containment and search of suspect. There were no injuries reported as a result of this incident.

The suspect is described to police as a white man, believed to be 20-30 years old, 5’6’’ tall, wearing black pants, a hoodie and a mask.
