Police investigate robbery GO#21-141027

On November 13 at approximately 4:40 a.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a robbery that had occurred at the Needs Convenience Store located at 33 Herring Cove Road, Halifax. 

A suspect entered the store, produced a handgun and demanded the clerk give him cigarettes. The clerk was not injured. The suspect left the area in a vehicle and was last seen in the 200-300 block of Herring Cove Road, Halifax. 

The suspect is described to police as being a white man between the ages of 40-45 years-old who is approximately 5'8’’ to 5'10’’ tall and was wearing a medical mask, grey pants with a grey, white and black sweater at the time.

The Investigation is in the early stages, anyone with information about the incident or video from the area is asked to call police at 902-490-5020.
