Police investigate robbery GO#21-142952

On November 17, Halifax Regional Police responded to a call from the Royal Bank on 7001 Mumford Road, Halifax. Police were advised the bank was just robbed.

The suspect is described to police as being a man with a dark complexion who is believed to be between the ages of 45-55-years-old and weighs approximately 200lbs. At the time, the man was wearing black pants, a winter jacket with a fur hood and white sneakers.

It is not believed anything was taken. It was stated by the suspect that he had a weapon, although none was produced or seen. Nobody was injured in the incident.

Members of the General Investigative Section and Forensic Identification Section are working with patrol to investigate the matter.

As of 5:10 p.m., the suspect has not been located.
