Police investigate robbery GO#24- 11944

On Jan. 27 at 12:44 a.m., officers responded to a report of a robbery at the Needs Convenience Store located at 100 Highfield Park Drive, Dartmouth. A man and a woman entered the store, and the woman produced a handgun while the man went behind the counter and removed cigarettes and money. Both suspects fled from the store on foot and were last seen running toward the bus terminal. The employee was not injured.

The man is described to police as being a white man, approximately 6’ foot in height with a medium build. He was wearing a black sweater, a black puffy vest, brown Nike shoes, and carrying a black backpack with Canada written across the front. The woman suspect is described to police as being a white woman, approximately 5’2” in height with a medium build who was wearing a black hoody with a green logo on the front, black pants, black shoes, and large black sunglasses.
