Police investigate shooting GO#20-79243

On July 12 at approximately 5:20 a.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a shooting that had occurred in the 3500 block of Lynch Street, Halifax.

Police attended a residence in the area and located a 31-year-old man suffering from a non-life-threatening gunshot wound. The man was transported to hospital for treatment. Police remain at the scene. The incident is not believed to be random.

The investigation is in its early stages and Investigators with the General Investigation Section of the Integrated Criminal Investigation Division are conducting the investigation.
