Police investigate vehicle collision GO#21-58513

On May 18 at 10:07 p.m., Halifax Regional Police responded to a report of a two-vehicle collision with reported injuries that took place at the intersection of Wright Avenue and Burnside Drive, Dartmouth. It was reported that two vehicles had collided, and one person was possibly trapped in their vehicle.

Upon arrival, it was noted that two large commercial trucks had collided with one another. Both vehicles had considerable damage. Police closed the intersection for first-aid administration, investigation and to remove the vehicles.

There were minor injuries reported in relation to the driver of one vehicle while the other driver suffered what was thought to be a broken collar bone. The matter and cause of the collision remain under investigation. The roadway is now re-opened to traffic.
